    Edmond Magny
    Principal

    Edmond Magny is a principal of Audacious Inquiry, bringing passionate program management, leadership, and systems integration experience to each client project.  Edmond is currently leading the project team responsible for a number of transformational health IT projects at a large hospital system and IDN in Virginia.
     
    Since joining the firm as its second employee, Edmond has served as the project manager for one of the nation’s first health information exchange initiatives, an integration project between a continuing care retirement community and a hospital system. He also managed informatics efforts for a pioneering senior care company, oversaw the rollout of an electronic medication history service to a federally-qualified health clinic, and managed the rollout of a consumer facing health record application. Edmond was a staff member of Maryland’s HIE planning effort and co-authored the report which served as the plan for the Maryland’s statewide exchange, CRISP.
     
    More recently, Edmond managed the execution of a large-scale website re-design effort for a publicly traded online university. For the same client, he led the digitization effort of an entire accounts payable department, streamlining invoice and credit card statement review, approval and payment processes.
     
    Prior to joining Audacious Inquiry, Edmond served for five years in information technology management roles with Merrill Lynch in New York. As Assistant Vice President of Electronic Trading systems at Merrill, Edmond was instrumental in the design and enhancement of the firm's global electronic bond pricing platform and was the key architect for process flow improvements between in-house trading and pricing systems. Edmond is a graduate of the Merrill Lynch Technology Leadership program.

    Edmond is a certified Project Management Professional.  Edmond serves on the advisory board of the Salvation Army, Baltimore Chapter, as well as on the board of Beyu Café, an entrepreneurial coffee distribution business.
