Kristen’s work is focused in the area of Health Information Systems at AI. Since joining AI, she has worked on a range of projects, developing expertise in personal health record development, health policy analysis, electronic medical record implementation, and health information exchange. Kristen’s accomplishments while at AI include working on the planning and implementation of Maryland’s statewide HIE and playing an instrumental role in a large-scale EMR deployment. Kristen graduated from Duke University with a BSE in Biomedical Engineering. During the summer of 2007, she worked in post-Katrina New Orleans as a disaster relief consultant, serving as a leader for a large-scale road damage assessment project.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and taking dance classes.
